GODDARD'S BENELLI LEATHERS UP FOR AUCTION FOR CHARITY
The official Benelli factory team leather riding suit worn by Peter
Goddard in the World Superbike Championship will be among items on offer
at next month's Steven Walter-Children's Cancer Institute of Australia
charity auction.
The auction will be held at Merimbula Imlay Bowling Club at Merimbula in NSW on March 8.
Goddard was Benelli's sole rider in the World Superbike Championship in both 2001 and 2002, and the auction will be the only opportunity to bid for the team leathers of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, supplied by Alpinestars.
Another item from Goddard at the auction will be a set of his Alpinestars racing gloves.
"This is a good cause and I'm only too pleased to help out with the auction," he said.
